No words can describe on the wonderful ways HE lead us so far...I dedicate this page to my Lord and for the testimonies on HIS grace...
We have been brought up in strict discipline and in the fear of God. Therefore attending Church Services, Sunday School & religious activities were a way of life..
However, I would like to list down a few points where I could feel the care and mercy of my Lord..
Born and brought up in a small village in Kerala and studied in Malayalam medium all through, the admission to NMIMS, Mumbai for MBA was a dream beyond my expectation. It was only God's plan that I could get an admission there and pass out with A grade in all the exams. In fact, I was the only student in the college, who hailed from a place with less than one lac population...The Post Graduation Certificate was personally fascimiled by none other than the President of India Shri. Shankar Dayal Sharma. All because of His mercy...Nothing else....
On completion of one year of our marriage, Jessy had a problematic pregnancy. The doctor did the D&C and we were off to Kerala from Goa. Only after two more weeks, it was diagnosed as an ectopy pregnancy(tubular pregnancy). It was God, who carried us safe on a long trip from Goa to Kerala (by bus to Mangalore & then train to Kerala) in his safe arms.
Our first child Divya was born after five years of our marriage. Jessy was suffering from pregnancy complications from the beginning and was on bed rest throughout. Finally, when the child was born and we were about to celebrate, she turned to a 'blue baby'. We could feel the Savior who stood guard and gave us the hale and healthy baby. The doctor named her 'precious baby'. Yes, precious to us and Lord...
In 2002 I had a problem called CSR which started affecting my eye sight. It gradually made my right eye almost blind. We went to many doctors and some of them even opinioned that I may lose sight of both my eyes. I even went to Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai with my friend Regi Karingattil. Finally, God was so gracious that the blindness was absolutely cured and back to normal.
In 2001 my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. In spite of very strict food control and disciplined life habits, this was the last thing that could be expected. When I took her to Bangalore for treatment, my only prayer was to bring her back alive and make her stand in front of her friends and colleagues at Nellikala. Yes, God helped me to do that. Not only that her sickness was cured but also she could stand a witness to God's Grace for six full years thereafter... God is Great...
Dhanya was the topper in class and all of us were expecting good results in the entrance exams, since she scored 94% marks in ICSE Exams. Since she could not make it in the first round, she wanted to repeat the entrance exams for medicine and even joined Brilliant at Pala. However, it was God's plan and mercy that she scored good rank in COMEDK and got admission in Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore without losing any year. This is truly God's decision on her... Lead us kindly light...
